can anybody tell me how to fix my coolsat 5000 its been down for for months already & I dont know how to start thanks
You need to join the forum I list below and read the getting started sections for your model. The Coolsats only work with a rom 102 card added to the receiver. You will need a card reader added to the receiver also. The extra cost could be as high as $300. to $400. on top of the receiver cost and requires some knowledge of card programming. Not really a good way to go for someone new to this. But its the only way the Coolsats will work for know. Everyone is waiting for a cardless fix for their receivers that will just require downloading a software patch to the receiver as it worked in the past. http://www.f2atv.com/ Jerry
