DNAS ERROR (-402)

Im from California and just recently had a chip installed in my playstation 2 over in Mexico. And ever since I did, I have not been able to go online with any of my games. Is this commend and is there any thing that I can do to fix the problem? I would appreciate any help or advice. Thanks!

 

You will need to turn off the chip when playing your legal games online. There are different procedures for doing this. Try to find out what chip you have in your console.

 

Thanks. ButI have know idea what chip I have since it was done in Meixco. Is there a way I can find out by opening it?

 

Open it and take a photo of the modchip if you can, and put the photo on www.imageshack.us. Then post the image here.

ok i guess i have the v12 mod chip acording to this link.

so what would be my procedure to disable my chip?

 

There are about 6 different possible modchips for the V12. You really need to take a picture.
