I cannot find a decent avi to DVD converter, I have problems with all and I have all the correct codec's installed and have tryed dvdSanta, Winavi and DivxtoDVD. With dvdSanta and Winavi, when I try and convert some avi's to DVD's and burn them to a DVD disk, on some DVD players they will mess up at certain points. Like for about 10 seconds the film will play fast without any sound although when played on a PC they worked fine. When I used DivxtoDVD the playback was fine apart from on some DVD players it would show green blocks on the films playback.

Is there any that actually work?
    Thanks

Tmpgenc, Canopus Procoder, Mainconcept, and CCE to name 4 GOOD standalone encoders.
DVDLab or Tmpgenc DVD Author to author and burn with any good dvd video burning app.
