I have burned a couple of backup movies, and movies from the Internet movie archive that never had copywrite protections in them. They will run great everytime on a computer but when I put them in a stand-alone home dvd they might play all the way through one time, but it will begin to deteriorate , by the third time it will not play properly or at all. The disc still works fine in the computer. Original manuf. dvd's work no problem. I use dvd decrypter if necesary and dvd shrink to burn. Every thing will say successful. The player at question is Sony slv-d251p.

Further research told me it was the nice paper labels that I was sticking on.
