do i need a macbook pro?

    ok so i am 14 saving for a REFURBISHED mbp, i make £40 a day (round $80)3 days a week working at the computer shop fixing computers, i have got this job for the summer holiday, so far i have £180 but i thought do i really need a mbp, this is what i do:
    Gaming-use boot camp
    i.m(sometimes)
    love game level design
    photoshop
    internet
    troubleshoot all family's computers
    downloading movies and games
    listening to music
    using idvd/imovie

    and no dont say get windows! lol

    because i was also looking at iphone 2G for £200 on ebay what should i do?

    I hate to tell you that a macbook pro might just be up your ally.

    We have it tech's here in washington state that use macbook pro's for fixing networks both windows and mac thanks to bootcamp..

    And it keep's getting better and better gaming is great with bootcamp as long as you use the windows drivers for your graphics card from the manufacturer they are really nice machines.

    The most major help full thing think about how many mac's you see with viruses and spyware and malware then look at windows and you can see really quick how mac can change your life.

    yep viruses is wht made me switch to mac last year amoung thousands of things

    thanks you very helpful that has put my mind at rest to all i need is another £800 or something :p

    Yep you need a MBP. The MB would be fine if you weren't gaming and PSing

    Yep i switched to mac because of my photography teacher recommended it.

    And i love my mac's after purchasing a imac g3 a few years ago i purchased a g3 tower and even a g4 tower and my freind recently gave me a nice powerbook g3 pismo edition laptop.

    If you are going to be doing the slightest bit of photo or video editing Get the Pro.

    I bought a MacBook and 4 month later sold it and got the MacBook Pro because I needed the dedicated video card.

    A dedicated video card is a must for video editing.
