If I have an action replay, do I need a modchip? Also, once I find out, how can I get the mods from the internet? I keep tring to get mods and put them on my action replay control screen, that I can use when I put in the action replay disk, but all the sites say I do not have access to the mods. How do you do this?PPPPPLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEE HHHHHEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!!!
Ok here is a good link that got me started. I still use it as a check list when I mod some ones box . Let me konw how it went for ya. Good luck ! http://www.techfreaks.org/articles/modxbox.shtml
Ok, I checked it out. The only thing that I am worried about is that soft modding voids my xbox warranty. Is there any way to get around this? P.S.: I saw another softmod tutorial and it said that soft modding could screw up your xbox. What is the true risk? What are my chances with it?
No matter what you do in life there is risk involved! But as is true in life you can always take precautions. Read every thing you can. And read that again. No way around voiding the warranty thought. Check this post out. I like it. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/263394 Go a head and ask lots of questions till you understand what you’re doing. Asking questions before you do the mod means fewer questions after, on how to fix things. Good luck!
