I am currently using an external Samsung SE-S084 () to burn backups of my original Xbox 360 games, i must of backed up at least 40-50 of my games now just encase the retail copy may get scratched as has happened in the past, but recently i have noticed that my Xbox will not read any of the backups that i recently burn, whereas it will read the old backups (burnt using the same method) just fine still proving that there is nothing wrong with the drive of the Xbox.....

has my burner packed up on me? it is only 2-3 months old but has had quite a lot of use....

i am thinking about purchasing the newer model () but do not want to invest money in something if it is not going to solve my problem, i am using a macbook by the way, any help/advice would be much apreciated because quite frankly the samsungodd.com support page is an absolute joke.....

    thanks in advance!

    Try a Different Media Brand.
Maybe 8X -R Maxell or Something Other Than Verbs.
