OK, so i bought a 2 disk dvd the other day, and only one of the disks works in my player, when i try the other one, it spins for a while then says no disk. They are both genuine dvd's and work fine in my other dvd player, but when i want them to work in the one i need them to work in most, only one plays! i have a wharfedale player. Do you think i need a repair or something on it? Please help! Thanks Matt
Before an expensive repair try using a DVD Cleaner disc in the drive... It may also be that the second disc is slightly damaged and your other DVD Player (what model is that one?) can play it because I have found that DVD Players are fussy! If that is the case you need to get ur butt to the shop and demand an exchange for one that works! Keep us posted =) reedy.
Hey, well i got a dvd lens cleaner and nothing happened! so i think i'll get someone to look at my player cos i don't know if i can get a replacement copy of my dvd because i got it from www.blackstar.co.uk and don't know if they do em or not! Anyone know? Thanks Matt
If you have access to 2 or 3 more DVD players try the second disc in those... You can then be sure whether it is your player or not! Have you had trouble with any other discs in the player as yet? That website you mentioned some have some form of telephone number on the site you could ring to check your worries about not being able to exchange the DVD... Good luck! reedy.
