Hi Maybe someone can help. I bought a Sony DVD burner over a year ago.It came with Nero 7. I noticed tonite when inserting a DVD, that it said, next month my Nero 7 will expire and I need to purchase a newer version. Is this so.? If it is, it sure doesn't seem right that after buying the Sony burner, that I have to continously have to pay for higher versions to continue to be able to use the Nero software. If I have to, I have to, but it sure ticks me OFF ,anyway! Thanks anyone for info on it! Swaneyjoe
You don't need Nero. There are plenty of free programs out there that can get you where you want to go without the headaches of Nero. Click either of the links in my sig for good info.
Hi Ferqui1 Thks for the reply.. I'm not seeing any links, unless I'm not looking in the right place. I don't do to much copying DVD's, but haven't seem to have any problems with Nero so far. But am always willing to try something new. Thanks again Swaneyjoe
imgburn dvd flick dvdfab avidemux There are some links... don't buy nero. Any nero stuff you use lots?.. maybe the cover designer? There are freeware alternatives to everything in the nero bloatsuite.. APART FROM.. the HD capture capabilities in nero 8 which are TBH f-in amazing..
