Does using a null modem cable increase chances of success when flashing using IFA?

Also is it recommended to turn off hyperthreading when using a PC with two processors?

    Thanks in advance.

were exactly do you hear this crap?

and yes the null modem cable will definatly give you a higher success rate although crossover cable is fine

It's the warning message that comes when using Image Flashing Assistant, must have been an issue with some users otherwise the warning wouldn't have been included, just wondered if anyone had experienced any problems.

I always use a cross over cable (faster transfer rate) and never had a problem with IFA - also have a null modem cable incase of problems, thus far never used it.
