your evidence can be found via the search bar. memorex suck period, end of discussion. if you're going to burn games just use verbs. thats why EVERY ONE ON HERE SUGGESTS THEM. its not because we like to spend more money than we need it; it's because we know what we are talking about.

Buy Memorex and then let us know when your laser dies.

Find the extended info by searching the threads. It's there. But to sum it up, no recordable media "acts" 100% the way original media "acts". The 360 will read most any DVD+R DL, but Verbatims "act" more like originals than any other brand, causing less strain on the laser than Memorex, TDK, Aone, Maxell, etc, etc, etc.

    I've got three 360s:
1: BenQ: has used Verbatim only
2: Lite-On: has used Verbatim only
3: Lite-On: Won't read Verbatims (exception to the rule), so I use any cheap media. When it burns out (and it will), I'll replace it with one of the 2 virgin BenQs I have, and you will need to do the same. So be ready, and don't complain about why you laser died, because now you know why.

good God dude, is it that hard to understand to just buy some freaking verbatims. you are more than likely downloading your games for free anyways, so what does it hurt spending 1.20-2 bucks on a disc for a 60 dollar game.

but if you want to use cheap crappy a$$ discs and ruin your console, your laser, reburn games once your cheap crap ones dont read anymore, go ahead and do it.

I've been using memorex since august or september of 2007, i have burned exactly 25 games on them, and have been playing them pretty regularly, I have yet to have a problem.

I have a BenQ, not sure if some dvd drives might be more willing to accept cheap media. But I haven't had a problem. For all I know it might screw up my laser in the future. But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

and by that time you will have spent more money fixing your problem than if you would have just bought verbs to begin with; since you only saving around 20 cents per disc anyways.

Don't be stupid, do what everyone says and use verbatims!

That's stupid, you'll pay for it in the end!

You don't read anything do you. This is one of the worst posts in a while. Everyone says use verbatims, and then you ask if the fujifilms is good?

    No. Use verbatims

I guess to get them to use Verbatims, we should tell them to use Memorex.

I have used ridata before and they are uber cheap and not too bad. But I usually just go for verbatim...I mean seriously a game costs 60 dollars why not spring for a $2 disc that you know is gonna last a long time, won't skip, will load faster, etc.

The ridatas i used had a few problems like an occasional coaster but they are still better than buying a memorex DL.

    NEVER EVER BUY MEMOREX DL!!!!!

The only "proof" that Memorex DL DVD+Rs ruin your laser that has been posted on this thread are:

So before you call me stupid or tell me to just do it. Please post a link that proves that these discs ruin the laser. It will give your claims credibility.
