The warranty is already three years, so you don't need to purchase a warranty.

I have had 3 boxes come without a shipping label... one time I think it was UPS fault because the box was just mutilated....
LOL.... You had someone cancel you order... that is nothing once I had a guy mark my console as stolen. I was unaware of that and I called to set up another repair and he asked for my address for verification and then he placed me on hold.... 4 minutes later a police officer is at my door the same time the guy comes back on the phone....

 

Guys this problem will be solved soon, M$ is working on a new design for the xbox360 called "Falcon", it Contains a fully new Mother board with 65-nm cpu and a lot of fixing of all bugs that causing your problems

the good news is the new design is cheaper about 50% (thanks to the new 65 chip) and less heating.

and all the premuim x360 will come with HDMI built in port

that's why I haven't buy xbox360 until now, I knew M$ is horrible with hardware and these problems are expected. so I'm waiting for the Falcon new design which is coming out this fall.

so it's like microsoft saying to us: " you guys who bought our piece of monkey's shit earlier can go to freakin' hell, it's faulty system, we knew it, but we were greedy, and our trick worked, we have the biggest fan base with that piece of white shitty milk color and with the best games ever, and now we're about to re-release the "good" thing"

it's like the real x360 hasn't been released yet, they're releasing the xbox360 this fall !!

 

Umm the Falcons and the HDMI premiums are already out. I have had 8 broken 360s and I would still say I made a good decision when I purchased my 360.
EDIT: BTW writing M$ instead of MS doesn't make you cool.

 

Falcon is not out yet, they're now selling the old design but with HDMI built-in port, because they want to sell the machines that they're already got, you can google if you don't believe me.

I think the falcons are already in production but they haven't cleared out the old stock yet and that's why you don't see them in the market.

man I'm dying to play GoW, BioShock, and others, is those falcons are really worth the wait? I'm confused now after seeing some BioShock videos

 

a) bioshock is good
b) you can't go wrong with a 65nm processor

 

I have a warranty so I don't worry too much. I play Viva Pinata, Burnout, Oblivion and GOW mostly on my Xbox.(Don't laygh about the pinata thing, it's a good game). I can't play oblivion on my PC(controls are bad to me) but I rather play first person shooters on my PC, after I get a nicer video card it will be much better than a 360.

 

well, I'm gonna mod my xbox360 so the warranty will be gone.

 

ooh, well they don't check mostly so if it breaks down they will still replace it for you.
