DOA Ultimate sex festival

I wanna back this up but apparently it's a "problem" game like Jade Empire, GT4, etc... Some people can do it fine, others cannot.

I have a softmodded box with Evox and the phoenix bios loader (I think), and it can't boot up from disc or hd. I just see weird colors on a black screen and it freezes. Original disc plays fine from a coldboot, but if I "Launch DVD" from evox I see the same problem.

Ok, I know some people with modchips can play it fine, but who with a softmod has gotten past the first screen? What did you do? If it worked from the start, what setup do you have?

(I know about the file structure of this game, and I know how to burn correctly.)
