I have 2 PC's both fitted with ATI TV-OUT video cards. One has an older Toshiba DVD drive the other has a new LG CD-RW/DVD combo drive. Both PC's are connnected to VCRs/TVs to allow me to watch DVD and DivX films. My older setup with the Toshiba drive works fine but I'm having problems with my new LG drive. If I play a DVD the picture on the monitor is fine but on the TV it like it's partially scrambled and jumps and flickers. Any other files or DivX CDs work fine, it's just the DVDs that cause the problem. I've tried a number of films but they all seem the same... Is this some kind of protection...? Any ideas on how to sort it...?
ATI had to put copy protection on there cards and software at time X older cards and software dont have it but at some date they were forced to put in the copy protection in the cards and software updates to be legal because the tv out can go to a vcr or other copy method tommays
