Does an AMERICAN ps3 work IN EUROPE

    Hi
    I´m about to buy a ps3 in USA but i heard that it might not work in Europe. Is it true or just rumors. If it is so what are the problems and possible solutions?
    Pleas help me im in trouble...Thanks

    games will work - blu-ray movies wont

    Just to elaborate a little more. Okthen12 is right, Games will work since they are region-free. So you can play any ps3 game from anywhere around the world.

    Ps2 games will still be region locked as well as movies.

    Also you may need a new power cable but thats about all.
