Does anyone know of a totally free program that can convert from MP4 to avi? Heres the story. I download a video file, download is perfect, file comes out fine, but my memory card is only 256 MB. The file is somewhere around 230 MB and i only have about 210MB on my card. So i want to find a program that can convert an MP4 to avi because i have a file that can convert avi's to mp4's while i can choose how big to make the file by changing the quality of the picture or sound. So in short, does anyone know a completely free file that can convert MP4's to avi's?
You could try using Windows Movie Maker to author the file and convert it to WMA format, then convert it to AVI. This way you can cut out portions that you don't want and reduce file size. Hope this helps!
