Does DVD Shrink really discard menus?

Can DVD Shrink make "perfect" backups (as far as title screens, extras, etc.) are concerned? I realize that the video has to be compressed, I just don't want to lose my menus or make movie-only backups.

I'm new to the scene. I think I'm just going to use DVD Shrink to compress DVD-9s, but I keep reading somewhere that DVD Shrink can't process menus or something. This is a little confusing, because I could have sword that last year (the only other time I've messed with this stuff), I was able to backup Mulholland Dr. no problem, menus and all. And that sucker wasn't a DVD-5.

So what's the story? I only have a limited number of DVD+R's (they're expensive around here) so I don't want to just start making unnecessary backups to test.

Shrink will do the entire disc - menus, extras and all - when you select the 'Full Disc" option :)
