Does it matter whether I use a 4 or 8 pin connector to power my CPU?

    Does it matter whether I use a 4 or 8 pin connector to power my CPU? I plan to overclock.

    Its a Core 2 Duo E8200

    IF your motherboard has space for 8pins, then use 8pin.

    You're better off using 8 pins than 4, but you can use 4 and do fine. I would strongly recommend using 8-pins for a quad core CPU, but for the 8200, I don't think it really matters.
