Can I use any battery make for Pandora's Battery? I bought a spare battery but it isn't by Sony. Thanks!
it's recommended to use old sony batteries, as certain third party batteries are not able to be flashed.
I am a business man... jajaja, what a joke, anyways in my country I am working on downgrading and recoverying bricked psps... so I have converted an extra psp battery to pandora, my question is... HOW do you charge the battery=? I dont want to turn it back, cause there is a chance that you might brick your psp by doing one, a friend did it... anyways I will leave the Battery as a Pandora one, does it need to be charged? And how do you charge it? Thanks and sorry for posting in someone elses post, I was lazy to do my own.
to charge a pandora's battery, do this -start the psp with the charger only, no battery in it -once it's booted up, put the battery in you can put it into sleep mode. it won't affect the battery. once it's done, turn off the psp fully, and remove the battery.
Thanks now my second question, I had a thread about memories, I know to do this, you need a PRO DUO memory i remember someone saying, it has to be at least 256, due to the logical formatting, now I found a 128MB PRO DUO memory stick, will it work as the 256MB PRO DUO will, or it has to be higher than 256 for it to work? Thanks and sorry again!
i haven't tried a 128, seeing that it's rare to see them now. but as long as it's a pro duo, it should work. people still get the logical formatting error with bigger memory sticks, but i don't know why. mine has always worked.
You can use your Sony Battery on the PSP to make it pandora and use the 3rd party battery to play games after you have used the pandora battery... or you can turn back your Pandora battery back to normal. PD I asked cause he was asking about batteries, I got a 512 Pro duo for $10 and I dont have any more questions. Hope my answer helps you.
Here is a list of batteries that are compatible and also Pandora compatible: http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=75986
can u use a 64mb pro duo stick for pandoras battery cuz i dont have the money to buy a new one rite now and probly wont have nuf for a long time...
Not sure what the minimum space needed is, but I successfully made mine with a 128MB mem stick (for the old Pandora Battery that only works on FAT PSPs).
