Does Pinnacle Studio 9 re-render mpeg-2 before burning a DVD?

    I'm using TMPGenc to render an avi to mpeg-2. From there, I'm bringing that file into Studio 9 to author and burn to DVD. Does PS 9 re-render the mpeg file before burning to DVD?

    Most definitely. And of all the major programs - DVD Movie Factory, Premiere, etc. - it is the slowest.
