Hello, I have an R4 card that I was using for my DS and now have a DSi, but want to know if the R4 card should work on the DSi?

I've tried and it doesn't so wondering what the problem could be

    Hi,
All the r4 brand cards don't have the ability to upgrade when something new comes out. That's why your r4 won't work.

Try to buy a new Acekard 2i or Supercard DSTwo.

I have a memory card of 8gbs for the R4 card, is that useable with the Acekard?

Yeah, Acekard works with microSD up to 32 gigs.

If you have updated ur DSi to v4.0 then NO because this update would blocked cards such as R4 etc.
The R4 card will not work because they only work on NDS/NDSLs.
However, you can use cards built for DSi like the AceCard and the DSTTI card.
