does starview work with c****s digital?

hey folks,

i have c****s d****l in kildare area. does anyone know if starview will work in this area?

do you have mmd or true cable

 

mmds im thinkin. theres a chorus box on the wall and a cable goin from this into a digital box

 

If you have an aerial/dish on the roof it is more than likely MMDS. If not and you have a cable direct into to your house it is true cable.

The Starview will work with C***** true cable, but you will have to enter keys manually. The Starview 2 called "The Box", will work on C***** true cable and will pick up keys automatically.

If you are on C***** MMDS there is a new Starview box coming out on the market in about a month or so that will work on C***** MMDS, as it will have a DVB-T tuner.

i got the starview 2 'the box' and am havin problems finding any channels. i downloaded the latest software - if i go to system information it says API ver 4.50e_E Boot ver 7.0.
after pressing 1570 nagravision is set and key EMU is ON.
the i go to installation and select c****s and click automatic scan.
the scan starts and TP1: failed, TP2: failed, TP3 failed and TP4 and all the way to TP 7 says failed and it results in 0 programs found.
what am i doing wrong????

 

I thought u said u have MMds
'The box' wont work on mmds

For True cable:

do a factory reset. go in and autoscan again ( on ch**us)
when it says *** channels found , exit out and go and change Emu to on. then exit back out and find a pay channel, then wait fot it to update !

 

no i have cable direct to the house. no aerial or dish. ill try what you say and ill let you know how it goes.

tried that and no luck. it keeps coming up with 0 programs found. its only checking 13 transponders and keeps saying failed

 

ah crap. rang up c***s and asked them was it cable or mmds and they said mmds even though there no aerial on the house. they must have 1 aerial for the estate and then plumbed all the houses from the 1 aerial. anyone know of a box that works for mmds???

 

chor*s mmds works on tuner dvb-t (terrestrial)

unfortunatly ur box is dvb-c (cable)

u can get these , but u need cards and stuff, not worth the hassle
Starview will be bringing out a box for this in a months time or so.
I think u better sell your box m8 !
