I have great success burning DVD's and can play my DVD's fine on my home DVD (pioneer elite dv-38A). However, my DVD's won't play on my Honda Odyssey DVD player. My question is, is this strictly a fuction of the medium I'm using or does the authoring and burning software also matter? I use Prassi PrimoDVD 2.0 and Spruceup respectively. I use a realatively cheap brand of DVD-R's.

Media will certainly affect some players due to the difference in the optics used in the players. Also the authoring due to the implimentation difference in the decoder software/hardware in the various players. No all DVD players are created equal I'm afraid...

Also, checkout your player on this page:
