I just bought a used ps2, and it doesn’t seem to detect controllers. I bought 2 new controllers, a Nyko airflo ex, and a regular Sony dual shock 2. I can tell that they are getting power, because the Nyco's fan will run and the dual shock 2's analog light will come on if I press the analog button. If I boot up the ps2 without a disk in it, and it comes to that menu, I can't select/enter any of the options. If I put in a ps2 game, the game will boot and it'll come up with a "No analog controller (DUALSHOCK 2) present in controller port 1." error.

Nevermind, I fixed it myself, ribbon cable to controller port had a contact that was cut short.
