just wondering how you can get the cable to connect the box to my computer and how to download software

 

jimmy, you will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F
which you can get in maplins or on flebay

if your pc does not have a serial port, then you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.
maplins or flebay again.

all firmware/loader can be found in eamos library here

you`ll need the GTRom loader found in the st*rview software folder in eamos library.
you`ll need to know if you have a clone or genuine b0x

18 x 7 vents on top of b0x = clone
25 x 7 = genuine

FIRMWARE
Cryptstar- v1.4 for genuine
Crypstar- v1.4-Core257.bin for clone

what do i do do i down load rom the plug in box to computer and download firm wam

 

Have the GTrom and Firmware (as a .bin file) downloaded ready on ur computer.

then attach starview to the pc (make sure starview is on standby once attached)

then open gtrom and press .bin file button

open the firmware then press download!!

 

whats a bin file sorry for being tick

 

when you open the GTRom on your desktop click on bin file.
a box will open with the firmw@re you also downloaded.
click on the firmw@re and then click open
click download. wait until you see a b0x with download complete before you disconnect from your b0x.

 

when i download the stuff its asking to find soft ware on internet it cant find files
