    Is there a bios I can use with my viper chip to make it work with this version? Thanks.

    Yeah get Cobra 1.2 and you should be good to go

    right verdas: I think there shoundn't be problems any longer with that version of cubes

    Personally, I had problems with mini dvd-r media (that worked fine in older gamecubes). I tried tweaking the laser and I got DRE's all over the place.

    After buying a replacement case (I ran with no case for a while), I have found success with the Ritek/Ridata G05 DVD-R blanks and most DVD+R blanks. Now I don't get DRE's. Ever.

    I use GCOS 1.4.
