double layer dvd burner

    I have trouble burning a double layer dvd+r disk.

    The burner in my computer is a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552d.

    Can anyone tell me if my burner has the correct specs to

    burn a double layer disk.?

    Yes it is, but there are several posts on the web that indicate that this droive is VERY PICKY about which dual layer media works correctly.

    From one of the threads on your drive:

    "For DVD -/+R my drive works well with Fuji and TDK, but it works best with verbatim media.
    For DVD-RW and DVD+R DL I only use verbatim.

    Please note that I have learned from this forum to burn only with imgburn. :roll:"
