I recently got a double layer dvd burner, but the program that I was using with my single layer dver burner still tries to compress the video, so that it can fit onto a single layer disc. Is there a software program that allow more than 4.7gb to be place on a disc; in other words work with double layer disc? If so please let me know, I am in need on a good program. Thanks,
How about a good, free program? Try dvd decrypter using Mode ISO read and Mode ISO write. Very simple, one program DL backing up,unless you run into some of the newer encryptions. Insert original Open up dvd decrypter highlite Mode/ISO/read Take note of where those files go,and also the title. Click the burn/harddrive icon. After it downloads those files onto your hard drive Insert blank dl disc Mode/ISO/write Click on the folder icon in the top/center of screen-please select file. Locate the MDS folder from your harddrive/not ISO image. It'll be the larger folder. Open OK and click the burn/hard drive icon. Another option is rip with dvd decrypter in mode ISO read. But then burn with IMGburn. IMGburn is almost identical to dvd decrypter's ISO write mode, even looks identical. Same thing. After ripping to harddrive in iso mode, open up IMGburn/locate that MDS folder and burn.
saugmon read my mind. Great programs and easy to use, especially when dealing with DL. I also stick with Verbs when handling DL backups. MovieDud
