to post or not to post that is the question. if a question is asked on the newbie forum. and the answer is not forth coming. (even though as in my case 1 member tried to help). is it permisable after a piriod of a week or so to repost on advanced forum hoping to get the problem resolved. or did it mean from the lack of response that the question was so stupid that it did'nt deserve an answer.
ddp. thanks for your reply. i was a little concerned that i might get banned from ad. thats the last thing i want to happen, as i've learnt so much in the short time i have been here. and met a great bunch of guys and gals. i will chance it in a couple of days. geoff
No. Multiposting is multiposting .... The advanced forum is for more difficult questions on how to do dvds. IMO there are few threads that really belong in DVD-R for advanced users (most should be posted in DVD-R newbies). Our members do browse through the DVD-R newbies forum. Could be ... You also have to remember everybody is here on their free time, so someone who really know the answer may not be around for a few days. best thing to do if you haven't got the answer or any replies, do what ddp suggested ... bump the thread up.
Nobody's gonna ban you on my watch gurnard In addition to bumping your thread if you feel it may be better suited somewhere else then just pm one of the mods and ask them if they'll move it for you. I wouldn't pm flip though, he's just a jerk on a power trip
Liked that one, eh? You and I had better quit before we turn this thread into one of the many that we've drug into perversity
thanks every one for your input. will revue my question then decide what to do. 1 question . how do you bump up the thread. sounds painfull to me. @neph, do'nt mind a bit of perversity my self.
