My TV needs to be replaced so I figure it is a good time to move up to HD. I will be using it with an upconverting DVD player, console gaming, pc games, and obviously HD TV. I have narrowed down my search to the Sony Bravia KDL-40XBR2 (or XBR3) or the Samsung LNS4095D. What are your thoughts on those two? Does any one own either of these? Can you give me the pro and con of the one you have/like the best? I would like to purchase it this weekend, so any help you can offer would be great. Thanks.
Here are some reviews from Amazon......... Sony Bravia KDL-40XBR2 http://www.amazon.com/Sony-KDL-40XB...r_1/002-0948468-3556059?ie=UTF8&s=electronics Samsung LNS4095D http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000GDEZLQ/ref=s9_asin_title/002-0948468-3556059 I have seen the Sony you are talking about. Very Nice TV !! Great Picture !! If moneys not an issue , I would suggest the Sony. I just got a 55 in. Sony KDS 55A2000 rear-projection. Great picture quality but not as good as a flat panel. Also could not afford to spend that much. From the reviews on Amazon, looks like the Samsung got some very good reviews . Much cheaper too. If you can go into a store & look at them both. Your opinion is what really matters . Good Luck & let us know what you get. Here's my set I just got 2 days ago....... http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INT...ame=tv_ProjectionTVs_RearProjection_55to80TVs
