Hi, Im wanting to downgrade an official phat PSP 3.51 fw to 1.50fw and then upgrade to a 3.80 3.90 m33. Is this possible to downgrade 1st from a 3.51 to a 1.50? Ive got the guide (link)for 1.50fw to 3.80,90 but all i need now (if its possible) a Link, Guide for doing 3.51 official firmware to 1.50fw? Im after the Link, thanks.
Just wondering though, i understand completely what to do in regards of upgrading the Firmware with this guide up until the pandora's battery side of things i must ask, Can i convert my original Sony battery to pandora's battery (like i have done once before with a 1.50fw) without buying a datel tool battery or hardmoding the battery? If so, it doesnt explain in that guide in how to do this. Is there something im missing or not understanding?
yeah so it is possible to downgrade to 1.50 , if you like. I really don't see why'd you want to. Get your hands on a pandora and make the ms so that it can downgrade you directly to a 3.90m33 of your chpice.
NO way to flash the battery. you must hardmod or buy the datel tool battery. also, the guide explains what to do to the battery.
ok im doing the 3.51fw upgrade for a friend, my psp already has the pandoras battery, would that be of any help if i used my battery in his psp rather than buy a datel battery or hardmod? I just thought, my battery is a converted pandora battery.
there's no need to upgrade to 3.51. if you have pandora's battery already, just use it. pandora's battery works on ALL psp's and ALL firmwares. 3.50 and lower have exploits that you can use to downgrade, but 3.51 have nothing, therefore pandora's battery is the only way.
ok just one more question man and i'll be done. Im wanting to upgrade to 3.90m33 from 3.51 official fw, not upgrade to 3.51. Can i upgrade my friends psp from 3.51 to 3.90m33 using my battery which has been converted to a pandoras battery? And then replacing it back with his battery that is NOT a pandoras battery.
Even though i have a converted pandora battery, when putting my battery into my friends psp, will i still have to follow the procedure of "OS Pandora Battery Tool" before upgrading?
