Downgrade from 4.46 possible?

    Hey forum,

    I've been reading tutorial, blogs, youtube. The multi-man thing seems easy to do. However, some tutorials and clips make it seem like you don't have to downgrade to 3.55 firmware. So my question is... do I have to downgrade from 4.46 to 3.55 just to use multi-man?

    Yes. And for downgrading you have to open your console, put in a chip (yes, you have to solder) and flash it.

    So there is no way around soldering?
    And what downgrade you have to get it down to?

    you have to downgrade to 3.55... you dont really need to solder... unless you brick the ps3 E3 flasher is solderless and if you do mess it up you only need to solder 1 wire...

    Anytime soon, Is there going to be a way to downgrade without E3 Flasher since the PS4 is releasing soon??

    maybe, but now what you can do is buy a E3 flasher and downgrade..

    Hey all, so there's a new video on youtube claiming that you can downgrade without E3 flasher (PS3 DOWNGRADE 4.46 TO 3.55 FROM(& jailbreak)[PROOF] WITH NORMAL USB NO E3 FLASHER"Mediafire")

    Any truth to this?

    Without even seeing the video: NO.
    It's a scam, they want you to take a survey/buy some apps for your mobile...
    And by the way, if I search the video title you gave I find about 250 videos.
