Downgrading Trouble

    yes i did, and i waited a few minutes but it didn't read from the card or turn off or anything so i didn't figure anything was happening...the power light stayed green and the screen was black

    did u try using option 3 in easy installer as an alternative.

    no actually...that's something that i haven't tried... can you use option 3 on any psp?

    i think u have a slim psp so try that and see if it works.

    okay...i formatted my stick, ran easy creator using option 3, i took the power supply out of my psp, powered down, took the stick out, put the modded battery back in and then the stick and nothing still comes up

    put the battery first?????????
    first insert the MS then the battery.otherwise it wont work.

    i used option 3 to create memory stick now it will read from the stick but the screen is still black and as soon as i press x it shuts off...what do i do from here?

    try creating agin with option 4 and ho did u manage to work it now.

    went with option 3

    try option 4 the problem was before u where inserting MS after battery.

    this time it worked with option 4...i pushed x and now it's reading from the memory card

    that it when its finish tell me,i will be happy for helping u.and imediately update to 3.71 m33 4 or i heard that 3.72 hx series is better on slim,anyway its upto u.

    it finally shut itself off after reading from the card for a few minutes using option 4

    now try to boot it using AC supply and check your version.Voila there u r at 3.71 m33

    i'm at 3.71 m33...is that all i have to do...can i play cso/iso homebrew games

    of course enjoy your own games but dont forget to update to 3.71 m33 4 immediately because it fixes some bugs found in 3.71 m33.we r soon expecting 3.80 m33.

    now how can i do that and can i do everything else on vista cause i have been using my sis computer for updating the memory stick and what not .. could u pm info on where to find newest update ??

    ofcourse i am glad to help u.u can use ur vista for rest of the process.just download the m33 4 file from www.dark-alex.org and place the update folder under ms0:\PSP\GAME and update it through game menu in your psp.
