In case you didn't know, Download Accelerator is just a spyware planter. It doesn't do anything to your connection, I suggest getting rid of it.

As kinza says - NO DOWNLOAD ACCELERATORS!! Absolutely infested my pc before!! The only way you can download faster is to adjust settings or upgrade ;)

I would'nt tar all download accelerators with the same brush. I use Getright and while I agree it probably does not do a whole lot speed wise whatI find helpful is the ability to resume a download esp if the dl is terminated due to a lost connection you will not have lost the downloaded portion of the file up untill then. You can also set it up to re-connect and resume automatically in the case of an interupted dl or shedule download's and have Getright turn the PC off when its finished, handy for letting the dl run overnight. BTW Getright is not a spyware planter.

Trom, I couldn't agree with you more. I've used Gozilla, GetRight & FlashGet and they all performed flawlessly. As to whether any of them is in fact spyware I can't say since I have never checked. You could visit their home page or install any one of them them then run a spyware detection. BTW Kinza I think that your sig is really cool.
