    HI guys,

I have sort of like a xbox community question.

I have recently moved from overseas (asia) back to the US so I am curious how big of an issue this is over here.

Has anyone here ever gotten in trouble for download xbox360 backup games?

Do you guys use any VPN networks, free or pay, to hide your activity from your isp when your downloading 360 games?

    Any other security precautions used?

Anyone ever have a really bad experience from downloading games?

Yes like homesick said, I've never had an issue, but I'm sure somewhere somebody's watching. Its just that so many people do it, its impossible for them to monitor, if anything you might have a particular IP that monitors it and cuts off your service.

    Thanks for the reply guys,

actually i have just done quite a bit of searching on the site and I have come away with the basic conclusions.

    1. use PG2

    2. stay away from public trackers, it seems private trackers are better? I am not sure how this is, cant they track a private tracker the same way?

    3. use some kind of VPN to help conceal your traffic. I downloaded hotspot VPN client, its a free client, don't know if anyone has used this before, but it seems a little unstable.

i guess my real question is, so i am dling xbox games, how can I ensure protection from ass raping packet sniffers? what do you do to ensure your privacy?

thanks again guys for the replies

Your only way to ensure privacy would be to invest $40, buy a drive for making your own backups, and quit downloading them. Other than that, you'll never be 100% safe.

I dont have such kind of concern due to the country I live so I haven't tried a solution that looks interesting

    http://www.torrentprivacy.com/index.php?mod=how_it_works

This software was made by the guys who have public trackers and they said can guarantee 100% privacy... USD 9.99/mo or USD 99/yr

I don't know whether works or not, try to google to get more info

Use Newsgroups, Torrents are what get people into trouble. just use them respectfully, never reply, never upload, never post, never do anything but download.
