Downloaded 800mb clip..plays only 4 seconds..

    title speaks of it..

    im using Divx 5.05 Pro..

    downloaded LOTR - Return of the King Movie..

    It will play 4 seconds..then just shut itself off..

    how can i fix this? is it a known prboelm?

    (file was 800mb)

    Ok, one NO PIRACY. Read the rules. This site does not condone downloaded movies. Please edit your post. As for your question what format is it? Is it an .avi or MPEG? Whatever the problem is-it is probably the codec or the file is bad. If the file is bad then you will have to fix it using either AVIFix or DivFix or something else depending on your file type.

    DivFIX No success, the video wont play a thing now..i have a backup..

    where can i find avifix?

    tried AviFIX

    when you do Fix DUB...what does it mean by that Move Time?

    FixDub aligns the audio and video if they're outta sync. That's strange, did you try the Koala player?
