Downloaded new codecs and now 50% of streaming video comes in all white and cloudy looking? hmmm...

Ive had this happen before and i forgot what needs to be done to fix it, any ideas. BTW i downloaded the newest windows xp codec package, and it fixed all my crashing problems i was haveing now all the video works but just some of them look all white and cloudy??? any ideas?? thanks.
