I'm sorry. I'm lost. I downloaded the new Ubuntu iso file. Now I don't remember what to do with it. I have Nero 7 Essentials that came with my burner. I've looked around on how to make a bootable disk and am confused. ISOBuster is mentioned a lot along with using a bootable floppy for the files. I don't have a floppy drive. I swear Ubuntu's web page had this info but I can't find it. And I looked at the Stickys posted but just got lost. Would someone mind pointing me towards an easy tutorial?
Open nero.. does that one have nero xpress? Chose cd-r/w in the drop down burner selection. Select "burn image or saved project" You will need to select cue/iso/img/ or "all files" to see the image file.. Then just add and burn.. no need to make bootable, it's already a bootable image.. it is as simple as.. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto hint::: burn at 16x or below, then follow the guides on the ubuntu forums As with all linux it is assumed that people know the basics. We forget that M$ have a mindset of making people totally dependent on the windows gui. (because we aren't tied to stuff like that) When you get running post any questions either on the ubuntu forums, or maybe on our linux area.
