downloading a movie into my computer

    sorry if not in the right forum.is there a program i can use to download a dvd movie on to my computer? and to convert it into an avi.

    Use dvd decrypter to remove the protections,
    (and copy to the harddrive.)
    (Now your movie is decryted and copied to your hdd)
    At this point you would need a program to convert it to .avi.

    (I always use dvd shrink and burn it to dvd+r myself).

    I dont convert to .avi so I cant help you there.
