Downloading files

    Hi,
    For sometime now I cannot download some files sent as attachment on my home computer.I am using Windows Vista.
    Any help?

    don't you mean "open some files"? what is the error message? what is the file extension of the attachment as in ".doc, .pdf" or what?

    Have you some how disabled images and downloading attachments in your email program or firewall. I know for some email from strange addys mine asks to enable pix or attachments for you to do so.-running XP.
