Downloading from camcorder to PC

    Can I download an analog camcorder vhs home movies directly to my PC?My PC has a cd/dvd burner.I just want to know how do I make the hookups.I also have Sonic and it might be easier hooking up the vcr to the PC and working it that way is this true.Also in hooking up the vcr to the PC what inputs do I use on the back?
