hello, i have downloaded a RAR file which is a software file, its got a pic the same as an iso image file, and when i click on it, it says (windows cannot open this file, windows needs to know which program created the file, It give methe options select program from the list or use te web Just need a few tips so i can use this software, do i need to burn it to a cd so it works? or decompress it? or open it with a certain program? im sure its pretty simple i just dont know how to do it. any help greatly appretiated chears ash
Win rar can open anything including isos. If it cant open it then its corrupt. Sounds to me like its actually a iso file. which in that case d/l dameon tools and install it. Then you can mount in a virtual drive before burning to test it out. Then just use img burn to burn it. If none of these programs recognize then its corrupt.
