I'm familiar with some of the websites that allow you to download YouTube videos to your hard drive. But the ones I've tried are very lossy in quality when I try to re-upload them.

A lot of the sexy videos I watch end up getting removed to to youtube TOS, so I want to reupload them under my own name. But not willing to sacrifice quality. Any ideas on how I can take these videos and upload them without losing quality?

we recommend that you save your videos as either QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, or .MPG files— these are the most common formats and they work well within our system. We specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on YouTube.

Therefore, and you should keep the high quality before convert them:)
