dpi,p,i?

    whats the difference between these and what do they mean, 1080"dpi",1080"i",1080"pi",1080"p",and is there any real diffrence visually?

    Alright, dpi is dots per inch. This is really just the resolution. The "i" or "p" stand for how the screen is refreshed. "i" is for interlaced while "p" is for progressive. In general, progressive scan is better.

    thanks for the info looking to get a new tv for christmas never really had a nice one , looks like i got a long road ahead lol.
