dreambox 500 c fault

    i have a dreambox 500c
    but now i cannot get any channels as before
    i get a message on the bottom of screen
    waiting for time no epg
    can anyone help please

    There is no signal.
    Maybe someone unplugged the cable plug.

    I am new to this dreambox 500 c. I heard about it liked what I heard bought onE and it is sitting on my floor doing nothing. Thats the problem--
    IS this the solution I have NOT got a cable provider and need to get one.I am in Ireland and the local company is Chorus /NTL. Does anyone know if there has been success in Ireland with the box's.
    It I have got the solution would basic cable do or must I get a package of chanels?

    yea you need basic package from ntl or chorus, theyre popular in ireland so yea they work, keep an eye on the new posts for all the dreambox realted queries and hopefully celtic will answer soon
