dreambox 500c audio problem

    hi there i recently got hold of a dm500c and flashed the dw2.1 image but the audio is crackeling quite bad sometimes it gets really loud it sounds just like when ur normal tv channel is not fine tuned i tried reflashing with another image just incase but still same any ideas?

    Have you tried using a different scart lead?

    Are you using audio leads to a surround sound system.

    If there is no change sounds as if it may be an internal problem.

    yeah tried different scart leads even different tv its not as bad when i use the jack leads but its still there.

    Sound like it could be an internal problem mate.

    Take it to a repair shop and get them to test it. Could be a simple fix.
