dreambox 500c image problem image

cant access tuxbox commander on my dreambox i have GP image installed i cant change the codes HELP

 

You can also get Tuxbox commander if you have your dreambox connected to the web;

Press the blue button,
Press 2 (ADDONS),
Goto Download and install,
Goto Plugins,
Goto Tuxbox Commander and select; and press yes to Install.

Now you will have Tuxbox Commander when you press the yellow button.

but have no look with that it keeps comming up saying cant resolve host name (url:

i would nt have a clue what this meant if you could explain in lay mans terms much appreciated

 

The web address you have listed should work fine, It's a xml link which acts similar to RSS feeds. They contain a summary of information available from the associated website, in this case addons and plugins to use on the Dreambox.

If you know how to manually install,
You should know how to ftp files to your tmp folder on your Dreambox
then you can get Tuxbox commander here.

But there is a fix for the Autoroll so you may not need to use Tuxbox commander, but it is handy to have.

hi NghtmreBx what is this fix you speak of i have friends ready to discard their dr**mbox as its largely ignored but if you can point me in the direction of the fix pls pls pls

 

Download the bigmaq toolbar, you'll find more info there, under updates/fixes.

 

Thanx - would you believe i had that and removed it again as it didn't really update Keys for C****s in Cork for the EVox. Will get it again
