dreambox 500c

i bought a null cable on the internet but it wont fit in the box its too big im going to buy a cross over cable now so whats the easiest way to fix the box using one of those ive the gemimi project on my box when its turned on no channels at all any help thanks

ill try the tutorial i have the software downloaded but when i enter my ip adress its says invalid my remote ip is 192.168.1.44 so any clues its really driving me mad i only bought the stupid thing for the kids it only worked for 1 day for me

should be anyway.

Try sticking this in and try connecting again.

yea im doing that but it keeps saying my ip is invalid ive checked it out and its saying mine is 193.120.116.177 ill kick the box all over the garden soon if i knew it was so much hassle i would have stuck to sky

when the box is connected to the telly and i turn it on all it says service providers boutiques and then it wont let me do fusk all ive tried all the scans and its just says no service transponders found im totally lost

 

you need to get into the box to get ur ip. Or you will need a null modem cable to communicate with the box and reflash another image.

 

i got a null cable on the net from malpins but it wont fit the box its too big fusk i give up u know it worked for one day it was perfect total waste of fucken money , only the basic shit tv now lol im waterford do u know any one who can fix them ???

you need a 9 pin female to female null modem cable

go get one and i'll get this fixed for you.
