Dreambox 500c

Hi All
I hope you can help me. I have just bought a new dreambox 500c and connected it up. I can get all the freeview channels however not the the encrypted channels. I contacted the seller as this is supposed to be an auto update box but it seems this isnt the case. Considering I am new to all this I really have no idea what to do next. I have read all the forums and really have come out more confused then ever. I think its a keys problem but not sure where I get the new keys and how to update them. Could anyone help me with this predicament of mine?
