Please advise the best type dish/Lnd required for to receive signal- and Where to find Settings to face Sat. settings/ degee/ would it be HotBird?- Do not know setting for HOTBIRD------ to pick up picture-reception to operate this system-/ ( Trying to get my TV working to receive Sports/Movies etc/ again here in Ireland-due to Nag3 being operated by UPC here in Dublin any help appreciated and thanks-------
hi not sure i understand your post fully but here goes, you want to buy a dish and lnb to use with your dreambox to get movies and sports. you should be able to buy a 60 centimeter dish that comes with an lnb and get it fitted for you for around €150, if you point it at the sky satellite (eurobird)at 28.5 degrees east you will get all the uk channels free bbc x4,itv x4,ch4,e4,more4,ch5,film4 etc(you mention hotbird satellite which is at 13 degrees east,this will not give you any of the above channels,and you might need a bigger dish maybe 80 centimeters ) .you wont get premium sports or movies from these satellites free,you either pay sky or you buy a foreign subscription on hotbird. you can get a special lnb fitted to your dish that would give you both satellites (eurobird and hotbird)you would then have all uk free channels and still be able to purchase a foreign sub. or do you mean to use your box for cardsharing, you will need to give us some more info mate.
